My first (and only) deer kill started off with a buck just sitting there

I watched it for a while and he started hobbling down the side yard stopping to take a break finally falling by the fire pit. I thought he died so I went out and poked him with a stick and he raised up again. I Retreated to the house to go get ole betsy and when I came back he had stumbled into this little pond and drowned. Neighbors 4 wheeler pulled him out and I buried him with his rack above grade. Few months later pulled it up clean as a whistle and he’s now hanging in the garage! I would take a picture but alas my iPhone does not post pictures.ah hell I’ll try anyway.
